ADAM is a software tool used in conjunction with
AcuoMed Image Manager to migrate DICOM image data
from one DICOM Archive to another. ADAM’s comprehensive
features make this one of the most powerful
migration tools for accurate, rapid transfer of data from
legacy PACS to new solutions.
Four Phases of ADAM:
- Phase 1 – Find all image data of a DICOM archive
- Phase 2 – Filter and/or Schedule the Move of image data
- Phase 3 – Move image data to a new archive
- Phase 4 – Verify that all image data has been migrated
Migration Manager
Primary Functionality:

- Ability to run migration around the site’s scheduling requirements
- Powerful statistical reporting and logging capabilities including email notification

- Filtering for data that has already been moved or is not required to be moved
- Powerful troubleshooting tools such as a built in DICOM sniffer and event viewer
- Remote Migration Management over VPN or dialup
Optional Functionality:
- Collaboration - Peer-Awareness through the DICOM protocol enabling Acuo's products to interoperate with virtually any DICOM device available on the network. Collaboration enables a single view of the DICOM network such that users and applications no longer have to be aware of where the data is located.
