UCP3 can integrate with unlimited PACS and modalities and optionally recommends a one-time services fee for PACS integration. UCP3 is licensed by study volume and workflow features. Acuo trains customers on configuration of PACS and modality integration, who can opt to do the integrations themselves.

UCP3 enables multiple physical mount points for storage capacity, including native API integration to many next generation archive devices and cloud storage platforms. UCP3 further enables adding storage incrementally, as needed, without impact to the existing applications or storage systems.

The UCP3 N+1 architecture enables adding server resources as needed transparent to the clinical users. The UCP3 N+1 architecture is further enabled across multiple data centers supporting a true business continuance environment.

With the grid-based federated database architecture, UCP3 maintains system performance over the life of the archive. Small, manageable discrete databases physically separated but logically federated offer advantages in system scalability, workflow and ILM granularity, while maintaining optimal performance.
